I worked closely with the administration and staff to implement an award-
winning Going Green Initiative at Loganville Christian Academy in Georgia.
Our initiative included school -wide recycling, healthy food choices, and a
less toxic environment. We received a grant and built an Organic Garden
that included 5 fruit trees.
I partnered with the Orchard Church in Loganville to build and implement
an organic garden and led the Organic Gardening Team.
In 2002 I took a course from the mediation training institute- The course
was Stop conflict before it stops the company 40 -hour mediation training in
the workplace.
In 2012 I took a Grant Writing Certificate Program for the University of
Georgia's center for continuing education.
In 2014-2016 I served on the Board of Directors with Teen Challange
Georgia International. I worked closely with directors and residents of Teen
Challenge in Loganville to create a multi -faceted greenhouse growing
operation.
2016-2018 Served on the Board of Directors with Fort Safty a non-profit
that educates the community and families about the dangers of the Internet
and how to stay safe and healthy.
I hope to be appointed to the committee because I believe in the Intent and
Purposes of the ESC.I moved to Atlantic Beach in March of last year and
have settled into my life here and am ready to get involved in my
community again. I have a passion for the environment and education and
want to help protect our natural resources.
