My formal education is in the Arts. I have been committed to the advocacy for the Arts throughout my
academic career. While at The University of Texas at San Antonio, I served as the Mayoral appointee and
Chairman for the City's Arts and Cultural Advisory Board. I once again served as the Mayoral appointee to
the Arts Commission while at The University of Toledo in Ohio. I served on the Board of Trustees for the
Cincinnati Arts Festival while at The University of Cincinnati.
Having the opportunity to serve on the AB Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee would be an
opportunity to be involved in, and serve Atlantic Beach.
