Sorry to hear about your brother and mother. Hope all goes good for
them both.
I copied the Board Member Review Committee on your email so that they
would understand the circumstances. I have withdrawn your application
for consideration; however, when/if you feel you are ready to serve on a
board or committee in the future, please let me know and we can
reactivate the application or have you resubmit a new one.

Dear Ms. Bartle-
I have been in contact with the city and
various representatives for the past several months regarding Teen
Council. My older daughter was an officer and I really would like to see
it reinstated. It is such a great venue for teens to bond with the
community,earn volunteer hours and provide services for families and
younger members of the community. That being said unfortunately now that
I have finally been contacted my situation has drastically changed. My
mother and brother are both quite ill one to undergo 6 months of
chemotherapy and the other just entered hospice. Regrettably I am unable
to take on any new responsibilities at this time. I appreciate you
contacting me and will certainly make myself available to lend a hand
but can not be the primary adult overseer at this point. Thank you again
so much and please keep me posted.
