Good morning. I am interested in being a part of the 11 person Ad Hoc committee to review the development
of a new Police Station in Atlantic Beach. I reside at 459 Ocean Blvd. Atlantic Beach, Florida. I am a lifelong
resident of Atlantic Beach, a 1973 Fletcher graduate, father of three daughters all raised and educated in the
Beaches area and I served on the Community Development Board some years ago. I feel that I am a fairly well
informed and a concerned citizen of Atlantic Beach. I have been licensed and active in commercial real estate
since 1979. More particularly, I am a commercial real estate developer. As a "ground up" commercial real
estate developer, I am very familiar and well versed in the development process, taking a project from
beginning to end. I have developed to own more than 25 projects in my career. Some developments you may
be familiar with are; Third Street Village (Bonefish Grill/Roys) in Jacksonville Beach, the out parcels (Chili's,
Krispy Kreme, Panera Bread, Sprint and Moe's) in front of Lowe's on Atlantic Blvd and the Chick-Fil-A,
Starbucks and Radio Shack along Atlantic Blvd. to name a few.
It is my opinion that I would be a very valuable asset to the committee and to our City.
Please consider my request.
