Good Afternoon!
A few days ago, Mr. Grunthal called me asking the status of the Police Building Ad Hoc Committee. I explained to him
that everyone on the interest list was appointed and the Committee has met. During that conversation, Mr. Grunthal
said that he had sent an email requesting to be on that Committee. I checked the list in the agenda packet and his name
was not listed. I asked him when the email was sent and told him that I could research to find out what happened and
that I felt really bad about leaving him off the list (especially knowing that the entire list was appointed). He said not to
worry about it, but I decided to research it anyway. When we checked the Quarantine Folder (email spam), we found
Mr. Grunthal’s email which is attached.
I notified Mr. Grunthal earlier today and explained that it was held up in the Quarantine folder so no one had received
his email. I asked him if he was still interested in case the Commission decides to consider his appointment. He said yes,
he is interested but did not intend to make an issue of it. However, he did say that if the Commission wanted to
appoint him, he would review the information from the previous Committee meetings and also listen to the audio
recordings in order to catch up.
