All aluminum shall be 6005-T5 (E= 10,000 ksi; Fy = 35 ksi) with a minimum wall thickness of 0.046” Splicing prohibited without prior approval as to location and type. Burning of holes in aluminum members is prohibited. Any member with burned holes must be replaced. Aluminum Protection: Shall be pursuant FBC 2003.8.4. All chips and foreign matter between contacting surfaces shall be removed before assembly.
