Dear Ms. Johnston:

Enclosed are two building permit applications submitted on behalf of our client, RSNS,LLC,the
owner of the property located at 31 Royal Palms Drive, Atlantic Beach, Florida. The first
application is for the construction of a wall/fence on the southeast exterior of the building. The
second is for the walk-in cooler on the exterior of the building.
As we previously discussed, both the wall/fence and the walk-in cooler were previously
constructed, the cooler as early as 1990. Accordingly, I have marked the representation on both
applications concerning no work being commenced prior to the issuance of the permit as I did not
want there to be any misunderstanding in that regard.
With respect to the wall/fence, we have included a photograph of the existing structure. Also, as
the cooler was installed by the prior property owner, we do not currently have certain technical
specifications as we understand the City will need. However, as noted, we have retained JAX
Refrigeration, Inc., to assist with this process and will work with it to expeditiously update this
application as well as submit any additional, required applications, e.g., electrical or mechanical
permits. However, we wanted to submit the enclosed to confirm our client's good faith intent to
comply with any necessary steps.
