THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC AND INTOXICATING
BEVEP~AGES IN THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
FLORIDA AND R7SPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
AND PAR'S OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT

BE IT ENACTED By the People of the City of Atlantic
Reach, Floridac
Section 1n It shall be unlawful for any person or
parsons, firm or firm,aa corporation or corporations, licensed
to• sell alcoholic bev~:x°ages, .intoxicating liquors., arine or
beer in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to sell,. offer
for sale, serve,. give away, dispense or dispose of alcoholic
beverages, intoxicati:Yg liquors, wine or beer, or to permit
the same to be consu~:ed upon his, its, ar their premises be-
tween the hours of t~aelve o'olock midnight Saturdays and
seven a'clock A.Mb P~ondays and between the hours of 12:01
o'clock A.M~ and se~ren o'clock A.M. on all other daps; and
the premises 3n which. any of said alcoholic beverages and
intoxicating liquors and wi.ae or beer are kept (except such
premises as are primarily used and conducted as grocery stores,
markets, or primarily for the sale and serving of prepared
food for consumption thereon) shall be and remain securely
closed during such'hour~, and no person sha7.l be permitted
therein during such hours for any purpose whatsoever except
to clean up saic' premises; PROPIDED ~HOWJEt1ER, that on Now
Year's Day (January 1) said beverages may be sold or served
and diapense~ icy any person lawfully engaged in the business
theneof in sail City, during the hours of 12x01 o'clock A.Ma
and 2.o~lock A.t~„ and9 except when said New Year's Day
January 1st) falls on Sunday, between tkie hours of seven o'clock
A,M, and 12 c~clock midnight, but at no other timea,
Section. 2. Any person, firm, association, or in case of
a corporation, its officers, employees or agents thereof, vio-
lating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon
conviction, be punished by fine not exceeding X500,00 or by
imprisonme~.tt not .exceeding. thirty days, either one or both,
in the di.-cretion of the Court trying the offender.
S%ction 3o All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflicv herewith, are to the extent of such conflict only
hereby ~•epealed e
