REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 294. AND ALL ORDINANCES AND
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERSwITH.BB
IT BNACTED,BYTHE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons,
firm or firms, corporation, or corporations,licensed
to sell alcoholic beverages, intoxicating liquors,
wine or beer in the City of Atlantis Beach,Florida,
to sell, ogler for sale, serve. vivo at~ay,dispense
or dispose of alcoholic beverages, intoxica-ting
ls$uGSS wine ar beer, or to permit the same to be •
wnsumed upon his.:: its, or their premises between the
hours of .twelve o"clock midnight Saturdays and seven
o'clock A. M. Mondays, and between the hours of 12:01
o'•clock A. M. and seven o'clock A. M. on all other days;
and the premises in which any of said alcoholic beverages;
and S.ntoxicating liquors and wine or beer are kept (except
such premises as are primarily ,used and conducted as `,
grocery storea,marketR, or primarily ffor the sale and
serving of prepared foods for consumption thereon) ~a,1,1,_
be and remain securely closed during such hours, and no
person shall be permitted therein during such hours for
any purpose whatsoever, except to cleaa up said premises.
Sec~tioa 2_ Yt shall be unlawful for any peraoa or
persons, firm or firma; corporation or corporations
operating for profit, but not licensed to sell alcoholic
beverages, intoxicating 1lquors, wine. or beer in the City
of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to sesve, give away or dispense
alcoholic beverages, intoxicating liquors, wine or beer or
to permit the same to be consumed upon his,. its or their
premises between the hours of twelve o'clock midnight
Saturdays and seven o'clock A. M. Mondays and between the.
hours of twelve o°clock A. M. and seven o~clock A. M. on
all other days.

of Section 1 of this ordinance persons, firms and corporations
licensed to sell alcoholic beverages., intoxicating liquors,
wine or bees in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida to the
extent that same shall be permitted to cell, offer for. sale,
serve, give. away, dispense and dispose of alcoholic beverages

2 and intoxicating liquors, wins or bear between the
hours of twoo'clock P. M. Sunday and twelveo'clock
midnight Sunday from premises which pay be classified as
follows:a) sons fide hotels so licensed, the
term hotel" msaaiag any establishment generally accepted
as a hotel and having fifty (SO) os more rooms for
the accommodation of guests, and where the sale of
intoxi-cating beverages i8 incidental to the principal arse

hotel.b) Bona fide restaurants solit~se8:.
which have bean in operation for one year or more, where
foo3 is habitually sold and consumed, and containing
seats for serving 200 people os more at one time atM
containing2,000 square feet or more of floor space in the
dining area which dining area. must be devoted to the serving
of food, and only incidentally to the serving of
intoxicating beverages, sad containing is addition1,500 square
feet or more of floor space in a kitchen area 8evotad
solely to the preparation of foo8, and which ordiaariiy
derive 6596 or more of their gross revenue from serving food

seated at tables on Sundays, and provided further that no sales
of package goods shall be made on Sundays,. nor shall
any intoxicating beverages be permitted to be consumed
on Sundays on the premises of any so-called "
Bottle Clubs"or on the premises of any establishment
operated for profit not licensed
as such.Section 4. Any person, firm, association, or
in the case of a corporation the officers, employees
or agents thereof, violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall upon conviction be punished by fine
notexceeding8:100.00 or by imprisonment not exceeding 30
