ORDINANCE REGULATING HOURS FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC AND
INTOXICATING BEVERAGES IN THE CITX OF ATLANTIC BEACH,FLORIDA,
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 10-58-3, AND
ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH,
FLORIDAe Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or
persons,firm or firms, corporation or corporations, licensed to
sell alcoholic beverages, intoxicating liquors, wine or beer in
the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to sell, offer for sale,
serve,give away, dispense or dispose of alcoholic beverages,
intoxicating liquors, wine or beer, or to permit the same to be consumed
upon his, its or their premises between the hours of twoo'clock A.
M,qn Christmas Day and fiveo`clock P. M. on Christmas Day,
and between the hours of twoo`clock A. M. on Sundays and twoo'
clock P. M. on Sundays, and between the hours of twoo'clock A. M.
and seveno`clock A. M. on all other days; and the premises in
which any of the said alcoholic beverages and intoxicating liquors
and wine or beer are kept (except such premises as are primarily
peed and conducted as grocery stores, markets, or primarily for the
sale and serving of prepared foods for consumption thereon) shall
be and remain securely closed during such hours, and no person
shall be permitted therm during such hours for any purpose
whatsoever except to clean up said

2 Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person or
persons,firm or firms, corporation or corporations operating for
profit,but not licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, intoxicating
liquors,wines or beer in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to
serve,give away or dispense alcoholic beverages, intoxicating
liquors,wine or beer or to permit the same to be consumed. upon his,
its or their premises between the hours of twoo'clock A. M,
on Christmas Day and fiveo'clock P. M, on Christmas Day, and
between the hours of twoo'clock A. M. on Sundays and twoo'clock P.
M.on Sundays, and between the hours of twoo'clock A. M, and
seven o'clock A. M. on all other
days.Section 3. Any person, firm or association, or in the case
of a corporation the officers, employees or agents thereof,
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction
be punished by fine not exceedingS500.00 or by imprisonment
not exceeding 30 days, either one or both in the discretion of
the Court trying the
offender.Section 4. Ordinance No. 10-58-3 of the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida and all ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith, are, to the extent of
such
conflict, hereby repealed.Passed pursuant to referendumelection
