FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC ANA
INTOXICATING BEVERAGES IN THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
FLORIDA, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH BE IT ENACTED By the Paople of the City of
Atlantic
Beach,Florida:Section 1. That Section 3-~ is hereby amended
to wit:Sec. 3-
1:ibited --It shall be unlawful for any person licensed
to sell alcoholicbeverages., l;ntoxicatinq liquors, wine or
beer in the city to sell, offer for sale, serve, give
away, dis-pense or dispose of alcoholic
beverages, intoxicating liquors, wine or beer, or permit the same to
be consumed upon his premises, between the hoursof 2:00 A.
M. on Christmas Dayand 7:00 A.M. on the day
following Christmas Day, and between the hours. of 2:00 A.M. on
Sundaysand 1:00 P.M. on Sundays, and 2~etween the hoursof 2:00
A.M.and 7:00 A.M. on all othex days, PROVIDED HOWEVER,
that onNew Year°s Day said beverages may be sold or
served and dispensed by any person lawfully engaged in
the business thereof, during the hoursof 12:01 o'clock A.M. and
4:00 o'clock A.M. The premises in which any of
such alcoholic everages and intoxicating liquors and wine or
beer are kept (except such premises as axe primarily
used and conducted as grocery storks, markets or primarily
for the sale and serving of prepared foods for
consumption thereon)shall be securely closed during such hours, and
no person shall be permitted therein during such hours for
any purpose whatsoever, except to clean up the premises or
to perform necessary functions for cldsing
the establishment.Section 2. This ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon passage by the
