A description of the "Use by Exception" desired, which shall
specifically and particularly describe the type , character and
extent of the proposed "Use by Exception" :
1. I am a licensed real estate broker and wish to have an
office at my home. There would be no effects upon the
community, negative or otherwise.
2 . During the over four years I have had my brokers license
I have never listed property, shown property or sold
property. I was a Foreign Service officer for twenty-
eight years, most of which I spent overseas . My only
interest in the real estate business is to generate an
overseas clientele , and to sell property as a cooperating
broker with the listing broker.
3 . I would meet prospective clients in the listing broker' s
office and any closings would be handled there. There
would be no business traffic in and out of my house.
4 . A desk, typewriter and file cabinet in my home would
be entirely for the purpose of carrying on correspondence.
5 . My real estate brokerage nameplate, not exceeding
one square foot in area, would not be visible from
the street (please see enclosure number 4 for views
of my house showing both entrances, enclosure number
5 for total floor area of the residence and for the
location of my desk, typewriter and file cabinet, and
enclosure number 6 for location of the residence on
the lot) .
