Shingles will not be allowed to be used on the new carport as the roof slope is under 2:12 slope. Consult with your roofer as to what will be used in place of the shingles and include this on the Product Approval Information Sheets. Installation instructions for this alternate roofing system will also be needed to be submitted at this time as all non-shingled roofing systems go through plan review in Atlantic Beach. This is a misread or misprint. The new carport roof will be SA Modified Bitumen not Shingles. Please find attached 5.
