Good morning,
Thank you for clarifying. I have voided your tree removal permit application. The City just updated our tree code, so
please be sure to submit a permit application in the future if you plan to remove any trees 8 inches DBH or greater.
Thank you,

No. I plan on removing only those seven plus the one in the front yard that I previously submitted an arborist
letter condemning. I do not plan on removing any healthy trees on my lot. My request is that the mitigation
requirement be removed since I will not remove any healthy trees

Scott,
I took a look at the arborist letter. It appears all 7 trees you identified for removal on your permit
application have been condemned. Is this the case, or are there healthy trees on your property that you
plant to remove?
Thank you,

Abrielle,

Attached is the Arborist report on 7 trees that need to be removed. I was thinking about only
removing trees one through four and number seven right now. I believe that this report will
remove the need for mitigation. Please let me know your determination after you review this.

Good afternoon,
Attached are the mitigation calculations based owed for tree removal at 241 Oceanwalk Drive
South. A total of 46.5” are owed. Replacement must be in the form of oaks because oaks must
replace oaks. Additionally, a minimum 50% must be planted on site while the other 50% may
be paid into the tree fund.
The proposed 4” live oaks receive double credit (8” = 16”). The tulip poplar does not receive
credit since it is not an oak. In order to meet the minimum 50% requirement, an additional 7.25”
must be planted. This can be satisfied with a 4” live oak in replacement of the 4” tulip poplar.
Please let me know if this is how you would like to proceed, or if there is a different proposal.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
